CEF Tubulars offers energy customers a complete range of quality tubular products, including casing, tubing, line pipe, coatings and other complementary products. We also offer a variety of specialty services designed to enhance our products' value and increase our customers' efficiency.

Because of our years of experience in the industry, CEF Tubulars has built long-term business relationships with some of the biggest players in the Canadian energy industry. At the same time, our significant market share allows us to supply companies of all sizes with competitively-priced tubular products.

Products

CEF Tubulars offers:

• ERW casing, tubing and line pipe manufactured in Canada by CE Franklin's long term core supplier, IPSCO Inc. Additional ERW and seamless products from API mills in North America and overseas. All mills represented by CEF Tubulars operate under a fully documented Quality Assurance Program such as API QI and ISO 9000.
• Tubular coatings, including Shaw Pipe Protection Ltd., Tuboscope Canada Inc.
• Ancillary products, including float equipment, casing bowls and slips

Long-term customers can benefit from CEF Tubulars' "billing for use" and "single-well invoicing" structures. With the first of these invoicing options, customers are charged only for the casing run in the well, based on drilling reports. This process eliminates the need for material transfers and customer reconciliation of tally differences. When ancillary products such as float equipment and casing bowls are added to the overall package, transaction costs for multiple invoices, purchase orders and material transfers are all but eliminated.

Services

CEF Tubulars doesn't just supply pipe. Our support personnel can also provide the complementary pipe services busy oil and gas companies need: string designs, pipe inspection and repair, supply and coordination of accessory products pipe handling and transportation.

Through our long-term relationship with IPSCO Inc., CEF Tubulars offers ERW casing and tubing from 20 sites strategically located in Canada's highest areas of energy industry activity. CEF Tubulars also maintains inventories of seamless OCTG, line pipe and coated tubing in supplier or large trucking facilities with on-site inspection services. Our stock points and inventories virtually eliminate the need for our customers to carry inventories of standard items.
